Included here are dances that either were choreographed
for folks who are wheelchair bound or they are dances that were
adapted from classic line dances for wheelchair dancing. Some
of the dances came from the British Western Dance Association
via Country Dance Lines Magazine and I found others on the web
site www.kickit.to. I collected as many wheelchair line dances
as I could find (38 of them) before I began selecting which ones
to include here. You are welcome to "adapt" the dances
to the abilities of the individual dancers.
The music suggestions that were included with most of the dances
that I did find were either very obscure (at least to me) or the
selection was only released outside the USA or the selection was
so old that it is doubtful that the recording is still available.
(Sometimes, perhaps, all three.)
There is at least one dance for each song on my CD "Sweet
Fire" except for the ballad "Night Wings". I hope
you enjoy the dances and the music!
